Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Application Support Specialist (AppSS) to lead application support and maintenance operations, ensure governance and compliance standards are met, and serve as the key point of coordination between ITPMs and AMS teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in application management, stakeholder coordination, Agile methodologies, and operational governance to ensure stable application performance and effective issue resolution.

• Oversee and manage day-to-day application support and maintenance activities.
• Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between ITPMs and AMS teams, facilitating effective communication on support issues, risks, and operational concerns.
• Monitor incidents, service requests, and SLA performance to ensure service excellence.
• Conduct governance reviews, prepare status reports, and engage with stakeholders regularly.
• Support Agile delivery practices, change management processes, and release planning activities.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Extensive experience in Application Support and Maintenance (AMS).
• Proven expertise in Project Coordination, Governance, and Stakeholder Management.
• Knowledge of Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit Processes.
• Experience in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Ability to drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.
• Prior software development experience will be considered a strong advantage.
