Key Responsibilities

• 12+ years of overall IT/EPM experience with 6+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience.
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect (Master Anaplanner preferred).
• Experience handling 4+ end-to-end Anaplan implementations, preferably in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Strong understanding of Budgeting, Forecasting, Workforce Planning, Revenue Planning, and Financial Reporting processes.
• Expertise in designing scalable Anaplan solutions using PLANS methodology, DISCO principles, and ALM best practices.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and managing sprint cycles.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Anaplan models, UX dashboards, and management reports.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead resolution of production issues based on severity and SLAs.
• Coordinate with data integration and migration teams to ensure seamless data flow.
• Strong experience integrating Anaplan with ERP/EPM systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and other enterprise applications.
• Prepare and maintain solution artifacts including Solution Design Documents, Technical Specifications, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Architecture Diagrams.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and support integrations using APIs and ETL tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for stakeholders, driving customer discussions and requirement workshops.
• Mentor model builders and ensure adherence to Anaplan development standards and governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Skill Requirements

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of Anaplan solutions for Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting.
• Work with business stakeholders, product owners/managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Drive end-to-end implementation activities, ensuring adherence to Anaplan best practices and solution governance.
• Design and build Anaplan models, UX dashboards, reports, and planning applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with integration teams to support inbound and outbound data integrations with ERP, EPM, and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage deliverables across sprint cycles.
• Lead production support activities, perform RCA, troubleshoot defects, and ensure timely issue resolution using tools such as JIRA.
• Develop and execute testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Advise clients on process improvements, data integrity, and planning best practices.
• Effectively manage client interactions, stakeholder expectations, and solution demonstrations.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across Anaplan projects.
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while ensuring quality, performance, and successful project delivery.

Other Requirements

• Possess trong hands-on expertise in Anaplan Lists, Modules, Actions, Data Hubs, New UX (NUX), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Proven experience in Anaplan model optimization, including performance tuning, model sizing, and formula optimization.
• Design, develop, and deliver interactive and user-friendly reporting dashboards using Anaplan UX.
• Lead and coordinate production support activities, prioritizing issues based on severity and ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of Anaplan integration tools, frameworks, and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in data analysis, data modeling, and planning solution design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present architectural concepts and solution designs to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, business users, and project teams.
• Working knowledge of API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) and other enterprise integration methodologies.
