Senior Technical Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Technical Consultant with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, including implementation, customization, integration, and support activities. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in Greenfield and Brownfield SAP/OpenText implementation projects and preferably possess experience in the Steel Manufacturing Industry.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting OpenText solutions with SAP and other enterprise applications while ensuring compliance with business, security, and document management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement OpenText solutions across enterprise environments.
• Participate in Greenfield implementation projects and Brownfield transformation/upgrade initiatives.
• Configure and customize OpenText modules including:
• OpenText Extended ECM (xECM)
• OpenText Archive Center
• OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
• OpenText Content Server
• OpenText Document Access for SAP Solutions
• Develop integrations between OpenText and SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party applications.
• Configure document management, archiving, workflow, records management, and content lifecycle processes.
• Develop and support OpenText APIs, Web Services, REST/SOAP integrations, and custom extensions.
• Perform migration activities from legacy document management systems to OpenText platforms.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and architecture teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and integration issues across OpenText landscapes.
• Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, test scripts, and deployment documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.

Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, compliance, and document retention policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of OpenText technical consulting experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end Greenfield implementation projects.
• Minimum 1-2 Brownfield migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
• Strong experience integrating OpenText solutions with SAP landscapes.
• Experience in technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Understanding of enterprise document management and records retention requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Steel Manufacturing Industry.
• OpenText Certified Professional certification(s).
• SAP technical integration knowledge.
• Experience with cloud-based OpenText solutions.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Knowledge of compliance standards related to manufacturing industries.

Steel, Metals, Manufacturing, Mining, Engineering, or Heavy Industries.
