Job Description - UX Designer

Location : Onsite, UK (London)

Role Overview

A talented and user-focused UX Designer to design intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences for its Salesforce transformation programme. The UX Designer will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, architects, and development teams to create user-centric solutions that enhance customer and employee experiences across Salesforce and related banking platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing enterprise applications, customer journeys, and digital banking solutions, with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Analysis

• Participate in user research activities, stakeholder interviews, and discovery workshops.
• Understand customer needs, user behaviours, and business objectives.
• Create user personas, empathy maps, and user scenarios.
• Analyse existing processes and identify user experience improvement opportunities.

User Experience Design

• Develop end-to-end user journeys, task flows, and interaction designs.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design intuitive interfaces that improve usability and user adoption.
• Ensure consistency across customer and operational user experiences.

Salesforce Experience Design

• Design user experiences within Salesforce Lightning Experience.
• Define navigation patterns, page layouts, workflows, and interaction models.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to ensure design feasibility and optimal user experience.
• Support the design of customer onboarding, servicing, case management, and operational workflows.

Prototyping & Validation

• Build low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard design tools.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback.
• Refine designs based on testing outcomes and stakeholder recommendations.
• Support User Acceptance Testing activities from a UX perspective.

Accessibility & Design Quality

• Ensure designs comply with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Apply user-centred and inclusive design principles.
• Maintain adherence to design standards and best practices.
• Contribute to design system and component library adoption.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and Testing teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Facilitate journey mapping and design workshops where required.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer.
• Strong understanding of User-Centred Design (UCD) methodologies.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and interaction designs.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure, or similar design tools.
• Experience designing enterprise applications or customer-facing digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of usability principles and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or FinTech domains.
• Understanding of digital onboarding, customer servicing, and operational workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Exposure to Design Systems and component-based design approaches.
