Job Summary
Experienced L2 Support Engineer to provide production support for the Siemens Industrial Edge Management (IEM) platform, which underpins critical manufacturing operations across Ford's plant network. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration, Linux systems, and networking, combined with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, SLA-driven, 24x7 industrial support environment. The ideal candidate will act as the front-line technical responder for incidents and service requests related to the IEM platform, ensuring platform availability, performance, and stability while coordinating closely with L3 Engineering teams for complex escalations
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for the Siemens Industrial Edge Management (IEM) platform Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: Kubernetes clusters Linux operating systems Network connectivity Platform availability and performance Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow Support emergency application deployments and production-critical recovery activities Coordinate with L3 Engineering teams for complex issues and escalations Participate in knowledge transition and shadowing activities Support ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and operational stability of the IEM platform
