Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated AI & Automation Engineer to modernize and automate our Data Center and Infrastructure operations. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve service reliability, enhance operational efficiency, and enable intelligent infrastructure management across Data Center, Compute, Storage, Backup, Network, and Hybrid Cloud platforms. You will work closely with Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, Security, Service Management, and Architecture teams to develop self-service capabilities, AI-powered operational insights, and automated workflows that support the transformation towards a modern, highly automated infrastructure platform. Automation and AI are strategic pillars in modern infrastructure organizations and are used to reduce manual activities, improve consistency, and free engineering teams from repetitive operational work

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation

• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management of infrastructure platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Create reusable automation templates and standards.
• Standardize infrastructure deployments across global environments. AI-Driven Operations
• Develop AI-assisted operational workflows and self-healing capabilities.
• Implement predictive analytics for capacity planning and infrastructure health monitoring.
• Utilize AI technologies to identify anomalies, predict failures, and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain AI agents and Copilot-based solutions to support infrastructure operations.
• Design intelligent automation solutions that reduce Level 1 and Level 2 operational workload. Data Center Engineering
• Support Data Center platforms including: o Compute o Virtualization o Storage o Backup o Networking o Hybrid Cloud o Azure Local environments
• Drive automation initiatives for: o Capacity reporting o Infrastructure monitoring o Backup validation o Disaster Recovery testing o Server provisioning o Storage administration o Compliance verification Monitoring and Observability
• Improve infrastructure visibility through integrated monitoring platforms.
• Develop automated alerting and incident response workflows.
• Correlate infrastructure events across multiple technology domains.
• Implement observability dashboards and operational KPIs.
• Create automated reporting and trend analysis solutions. Service Improvement
• Identify repetitive operational tasks suitable for automation.
• Build self-service capabilities for infrastructure consumers.
• Measure and track automation benefits including: o Hours saved o Reduced incidents o Improved SLA compliance o Reduced operational costs o Faster service delivery Security and Governance
• Ensure automation solutions comply with security and compliance standards.
• Implement least-privilege principles and governance controls for AI and automation platforms.
• Support audit requirements and infrastructure governance frameworks.
• Maintain proper documentation and change management processes.

Skill Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. Experience
• 5+ years working within Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Automation engineering.
• Experience automating enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
