Job Description: Technical Lead - Python, FAST API, React & Azure

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Full-Stack Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications built on Python, FAST API, React, and Azure technologies.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership capabilities, covering backend services, data processing and visualization, modern frontend development, cloud-native deployment, CI/CD, and application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of enterprise applications.
• Design and develop scalable backend applications and APIs using Python FAST API
• Develop data processing, transformation, and analytical capabilities using Pandas and NumPy.
• Build data visualization and reporting capabilities using Matplotlib and charting/visualization libraries.
• Design asynchronous and distributed processing solutions using Celery.
• Implement caching, session management, and performance optimization using Redis.
• Develop modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize relational data models, queries, stored procedures, and application integrations using PostgreSQL.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy, configure, and support containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
• Define coding standards, engineering best practices, reusable components, and application architecture guidelines.
• Identify technical debt, security vulnerabilities, scalability constraints, and opportunities for application modernization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business stakeholders, Architects, DevOps teams, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support production issues and ensure application reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance.

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of applications and solutions.
• Translate functional and business requirements into appropriate technical architecture and implementation.
• Guide development teams on Python, FAST API, React, Azure, database, and DevOps engineering practices.
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to architectural and security standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, infrastructure, and integration layers.
• Drive application modernization, automation, performance improvement, and technical debt reduction.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed development and business teams.

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python-based enterprise applications.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as a Technical Lead / Solution Lead.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, containerization, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise workloads on Azure and AKS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Profile

Senior hands-on Technical Lead capable of working across Python backend + FAST API + data processing + React/TypeScript frontend + PostgreSQL + Azure/AKS + CI/CD, while providing architectural direction and technical leadership to the development team.
