Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise platforms including Microservices, Azure API Management (APIM), and ESDF. The role involves supporting cloud-native applications on Azure, troubleshooting production issues, managing deployments, and ensuring platform stability within SLA-driven environments.
Provide production support for applications hosted on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application, API, platform, and infrastructure issues.
Support deployments, release management, and environment maintenance using Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.
Analyze logs, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive incident/problem resolution.
Support integrations using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices architectures.
Work with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for environment and platform support activities.
Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Splunk, or similar tools.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure service reliability.
Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Participate in 24x7 on-call support, major incident bridges, and critical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Strong hands-on experience supporting Java-based Microservices applications in production environments.
Strong hands-on experience supporting Node.js and TypeScript-based applications in production environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, AKS/Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native platforms.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
Good knowledge of REST APIs, API integrations, JSON, and XML.
Experience in troubleshooting Java/Spring Boot and Node.js/TypeScript-based applications.
Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance troubleshooting.
Experience with incident management, problem management, and RCA.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
Skill Requirements
Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and cloud security best practices.
Exposure to PagerDuty, Service Bus, Event Hub, or messaging technologies.
Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, eCommerce, or enterprise integration environments.
