Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Deliver the best engineered products from all engineering aspects, like designing and architecting across multiple product lines.
• Drive customer experience, continually raising the bar on functionality, usability, and simplicity.
• Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement.
• Drive best practices and be a pro with agile methodologies/practices: SCRUM, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and breaking down complex requirements into simpler stories.
• Establish a solid project framework and development processes.
• Operate strategically and tactically. Work on strategy and help set direction while staying on top of the day-to-day software development.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, and schedules across ongoing projects, ensuring that timelines are met in accordance with the project roadmap.
• Direct and provide ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors, set objectives, review performance, define growth plans, and nurture.
• Worked with message brokers and application containers.
• Analyze, design, and architect; develop and maintain software solutions across multiple projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering (computer science, information systems).
• 7-13 years of strong experience managing software projects right from inception to launch, seeing the full lifecycle, building enterprise systems, including at least 2 years of direct people management experience.
• Worked on large-scale Java/JSP applications with a good understanding of the web stack.
• Good understanding of the nuances of distributed systems.
• Good understanding of relational databases (preferred: MySQL / PostgreSQL).
• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 14-18 years of experience in software architecture and enterprise application development.
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting or managing Loan Origination Systems (LOS) in an NBFC or BFSI setup.
• Strong experience with digital lending platforms, microservices architecture, and workflow engines.
• Expertise in integrating with credit bureaus and KYC platforms.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (RDBMS and NoSQL), caching, and performance tuning.
• Experience in agile delivery, DevOps practices, and distributed system architecture.
