DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application deployment workflows. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure our systems are highly available, scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving complex infrastructure problems and enjoys automation at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).
• Implement security best practices for cloud resources and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and maintain high reliability.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer productivity through tooling and scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release processes and environment consistency.
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and environment documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS / GCP / Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, Helm charts, service mesh (Istio / Linkerd), Docker and container orchestration, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, and Shell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, etc.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux is a plus.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with serverless (Lambda/Cloud Functions).
• Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with security compliance (SOC2 ISO, and GDPR frameworks).
• Exposure to distributed systems and high-traffic architectures.
• Experience in startup or product-based companies.
