Requirements:
- Trade tested artisan as a Millwright / Electro-mechanician /Beng: Mechatronics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment in the maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, electrical, pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic equipment.
- Perform maintenance schedules, breakdowns and shutdown work by maintaining or repairing equipment to ensure minimum down-time for production.
- Conduct maintenance and fault finding on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic problems in production or across the facility.
- Fault finding equipment and processes, identifying faults or potential problems which may result in a breakdown or downtime. All problems will be reported.
- Complete shift report with regards to routine, scheduled, breakdowns and job card data capture.
- Updating all daily / weekly / monthly registers.
- Brainstorm and feedback on problems and solutions in regard to equipment /processes / projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine repair and maintenance procedures.
- Assemble, install and proficiently learn new machinery and equipment.
