Job Summary
This position is for a paralegal to join the Corporate Legal Services team of Health Care Service Corporation. This paralegal provides strategic support for multi-state licensing, regulatory requirements and filings, and corporate governance functions (e.g., minute maintenance, meeting records, and resolutions), while supporting complex corporate and regulatory matters. The Sr. Corporate Paralegal partners with corporate attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing regulatory filings, drafting governance documents, conducting legal research, assisting with project management, preparing and delivering presentations to internal stakeholders, and drafting complex documents, correspondence, and agreements.Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR Paralegal Certification AND 4 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR 6 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal Knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, HCSC corporate policies, procedures, and company operations
- Detail and deadline orientation and PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and move amongst tasks and changing priorities effectively. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and experience dealing directly with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into understandable guidance.
- Strong organizational, analytical, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
- Team player
Preferred Requirements
- Experience supporting corporate governance activities, including board meetings, resolutions, minutes, and corporate records management.
- Experience preparing and managing multi-state regulatory filings, entity registrations, annual reports, and licensing documentation.
- Knowledge of corporate entity management and governance best practices.
- Experience supporting legal operations within a highly regulated industry.
- Experience preparing executive-level materials, presentations, and communications for senior leadership and governance bodies.
This is a Flex position that requires 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range
$55,900.00 - $123,500.00Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
