Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Edit branded content across articles, landing pages, newsletters, social copy, and other editorial deliverables to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Review content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, structure, tone, and overall readability while maintaining each brand's unique voice.
- Ensure all copy aligns with editorial standards, client guidelines, project briefs, and brand requirements.
- Fact-check names, titles, dates, claims, hyperlinks, captions, and supporting information to maintain editorial integrity.
- Perform final quality assurance reviews on preview links before publication, identifying and resolving editorial and production issues.
- Verify headlines, subheads, metadata, calls to action, image captions, pull quotes, and other on-page elements for accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with writers, editors, designers, producers, and account teams to incorporate feedback and resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- 5+ years of professional copy-editing or editorial experience.
- Experience editing branded content, sponsored content, marketing copy, digital publishing, or journalism.
- Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editorial style.
- Strong understanding of voice, tone, audience, and brand standards across multiple content formats.
- Outstanding attention to detail, particularly during final-stage editorial reviews and quality assurance.
- Experience working within web-based content management systems (CMS) or digital publishing preview environments.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- This is a fully remote position.

The hourly rate for this role is $75.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
