The role
We're looking for a semi-senior commercial profile to join business development at ++hellohello. You'll work across the commercial cycle: qualifying inbound opportunities, running discovery calls with senior stakeholders, and shaping the proposals we bring to clients.
You'll prep the brief, flag the risks, and recommend how to move forward on every opportunity. This role rewards attitude: judgment, hustle, and the drive to grow into someone who closes deals themselves.
This isn't an entry-level or execution-only role. It asks for real commercial instinct, sharp communication, and the maturity to represent ++hellohello well in front of senior decision-makers.
++hellohello's Business Developer must be passionate about brand, technology, and design, not just the sales side of it. You understand ++hellohello's approach well enough to explain it clearly, in writing and in person, and why it changes how a client's business looks and performs. You walk into every call already knowing our offering, our process, and where we fit in the market, so you can qualify inbound inquiries with real judgment. You keep an eye out for the moments where what we do could make a real difference for someone.
What you'll do
Handle inbound inquiries end to end: qualify, validate fit and timing, flag whether it's worth pursuing, and manage timelines across multiple opportunities at once.
Lead discovery and qualification calls with senior stakeholders.
Prepare concise briefs before each call: context, risks, recommended approach.
Support proposal and pitch development, working alongside design and engineering on strategy and content.
Manage our case studies: work with the design team on what to include and which angle sells best, and keep them updated and ready to use in every proposal.
Keep pipeline and business development data clean, structured, and up to date.
Stay on top of creative and business trends, and flag opportunities worth exploring for ++hellohello.
What we're looking for
2-3 years of experience in a business development role. Ideally, you also have agency or consulting experience.
Near-native English fluency, written and spoken, you'll operate daily in the US market.
Self-starter: Someone who thrives in a deadline-oriented environment and is highly organized. You have the ability to manage multiple tasks with ease, strategically prioritize them, and analyze opportunities to make recommendations on approaches.
Demonstrated self-starter comfortable trying new things, quick to learn new skills and able to proactively identify new opportunities.
Proven ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data, and then devise ways to turn insight into action.
Well-versed in technology. Since we are a digital agency, you have to understand what we do to be successful.
A passion for digital products, design and technology. Familiarity with digital sales tools and technologies such as G Suite, Hubspot, Claude, Figma, Slack, Notion.
Strong communicator. Offers both strong, clear writing as well as impressive presentation skills.
