HelloKindred is a talent company founded in 2009 that places marketing, creative and digital specialists with employers on a flexible basis, working across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and South Africa. It concentrates deliberately on marketing and creative roles rather than general technology recruitment, supplying designers, content specialists, campaign managers, digital producers and marketing technologists on contract, project or fractional terms. Headquartered in London, it advertises client vacancies under its own name and pitches flexible senior talent as an alternative to permanent hires in a function where workload arrives in bursts.

Who is HelloKindred?

HelloKindred are specialists in staffing marketing, creative and technology roles, offering a range of talent solutions that can be delivered on-site, remotely or hybrid.

Our vision is to make work accessible and people’s lives better. We do this by disrupting traditional employment barriers - connecting ambitious talent to flexible opportunities with trusted brands.

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 months with potential to extend

Work setup: Hybrid - 3 days on site at client office in Toronto or to support events. May need to flex up for busy weeks close to events. Some travel required to attend events in Toronto and Calgary. Travel frequency may vary more for busy months.

Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Marketing Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of advertising packages and branded experiences, coordinating with brands, agencies, creators, and internal teams to ensure campaigns and activations are delivered on time and to quality.

The role supports online and offline advertising projects, creator events, sponsorships, activations, and tentpole moments. Some travel to events in Toronto and Calgary is required, with flexibility to work additional days on site during busy periods is required.

What you will do:

  • Lead campaign execution from post-sale handover through launch and completion.
  • Own timelines, project plans, milestone tracking, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage asset collection and approvals, ensuring completeness and quality.
  • Identify risks early and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
  • Lead planning and execution of creator events, sponsorship programs, activations, and tentpole moments.
  • Coordinate agencies, production vendors, venue partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop run-of-shows, workback schedules, and briefing documents.
  • Lead on-site execution from setup through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact across clients, agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Lead status meetings, project updates, and cross-functional alignment sessions.
  • Connect campaign work to the client's platform through in-app activations, creator content, and social storytelling.
  • Ensure every stakeholder has the information needed to move quickly and stay aligned.
  • Build and maintain project trackers to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes without necessarily having direct control.
  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, brands, and other partners throughout offline marketing and experiential initiatives.
  • Support events in Toronto and Calgary, including additional on-site support during busy periods when required.
  • Bring 3-6 years of experience in project management, experiential marketing, campaign operations, or agency environments.
  • Possess a strong foundation in project management, with the ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have experience building and maintaining project trackers, timelines, and delivery schedules.
  • Apply strong client and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Bring experience managing events, including planning, organizing, and overseeing event-day execution.
  • Work effectively with vendors, agencies, brands, and other external partners.
  • Have familiarity with the offline marketing and experiential ecosystem.
  • Bring familiarity with social media and an interest, exposure, or experience within the social media ecosystem and marketing.
  • Possess strong communication skills and direct client-facing or external partner experience.
  • Maintain a high level of operational rigor, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Remain resilient and resourceful when managing complex projects and changing priorities.
  • Exercise tact and sound judgment when navigating ambiguity and changing circumstances.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and complex workstreams effectively.
  • Have familiarity with the client's products and advertising ecosystem.
  • Be willing and flexible to travel to events in Toronto and Calgary as required.
  • Be willing to provide additional on-site support during busy weeks close to events.

Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.
