Solution Lead – Professional Services, Automotive ADAS & AD

What's the role?

The Solution Lead - Professional Services, Automotive ADAS & Autonomous Driving (EMEA) is a senior individual contributor responsible for end-to-end solution leadership and delivery of ADAS & AD engagements across the region.

The role operates without line management responsibility and combines a high degree of autonomy in execution with clear accountability for delivery quality, customer success, and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Delivery & Ownership

• You own the end-to-end delivery of ADAS & AD Professional Services engagements, ensuring high-quality execution across all project phases.
• You translate customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solution architectures aligned with HERE capabilities.
• You drive solution design across ADAS, automated driving, and location-based systems, ensuring technical feasibility and robustness.
• You take responsibility for delivery outcomes and act as the escalation point for critical technical, delivery, or contractual challenges.

2. Solution Shaping & Pre-Sales Support

• You work closely with bid management teams on RFIs and RFQs, contributing to the development of winning solution strategies.
• You support solution definition, estimation, and delivery approach, ensuring alignment between technical feasibility and customer expectations.
• You help position Professional Services effectively in complex pursuits by combining technical depth with customer understanding.

3. Customer Engagement

• You act as a senior interface toward OEMs, Tier-1s, and strategic partners, building trust through expertise and clarity.
• You lead technical discussions and ensure strong alignment between customer expectations, solution design, and delivery approach.
• You take ownership in complex or critical situations, ensuring issues are addressed in a structured and transparent way.

4. Business Contribution

• You identify and shape new business opportunities early by leveraging your domain expertise and customer interactions.
• You support PoCs, pilots, and co-innovation initiatives to de-risk solutions and expand HERE’s footprint.
• You contribute to commercial success by aligning delivery with business value and supporting overall revenue growth.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• You collaborate closely with Product Management, Automotive Solutions, and BSA teams to ensure aligned and integrated solutions.
• You work across Sales and Engineering functions to connect customer needs with product capabilities and delivery execution.
• You actively bring together the right stakeholders to drive progress and ensure effective decision-making.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• You develop reusable assets, solution patterns, and reference approaches to improve delivery efficiency and scalability.
• You stay current on industry trends such as SDV, ADAS evolution, and AI-driven automotive solutions, and translate these into practice.
• You contribute to the evolution of Professional Services delivery models through structured feedback and continuous improvement.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive, software, or related domains.
• A solid understanding of ADAS / Autonomous Driving systems.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally with OEMs or Tier-1s.
• A background in solution architecture, system integration, or software delivery.

• Fluent English is required; proficiency in German and/or French is considered a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g. ASPICE).
• Experience with ADAS technologies (e.g. electronic horizon, HD maps).
• Exposure to RFQs, pre-sales, or solution shaping.
• Experience with simulation environments and tools (e.g. IPG CarMaker, dSPACE, or similar).
• Interest in AI-driven automotive systems.
