Plato is building the OS for litigation lawyers.

With GenAI, the transformation of the legal industry has already begun.

Litigation lawyers are overwhelmed by complex and repetitive tasks: complex damages calculations, thousands of documents to review, days spent drafting legal documents, and more.

Our mission: Build the leading OS for litigation lawyers, enabling lawyers to spend 10x less time on administrative and operational work, and focus instead on strategy.

Plato already supports around 50 law firms and 1 major insurance’s legal team specialized in personal injury, who use our solution daily to manage hundreds of active cases.

Founded in January 2026 by Ben (CEO) and Alexandre (CTO), we are backed by Hexa (formerly eFounders), Europe’s leading startup studio. Hexa has launched over 35 companies, including unicorns such as Front, Aircall, and Spendesk, collectively generating more than €230M in ARR and raising over €750M in funding.

Plato is already live with real users and real data, solving concrete legal workflows in production.

We're now entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for our next Business Developer to help accelerate our commercial expansion.

Your mission

We're looking for a Business Developer to work closely with Ben, Co-founder & CEO.

You'll play a key role in growing Plato by introducing our AI platform to litigation law firms across France.

This is a hands-on commercial role where you'll learn how to sell an innovative AI product in a fast-moving startup while working directly alongside experienced founders.

You'll quickly gain ownership over your pipeline and have the opportunity to grow as Plato scales.

Responsibilities

• Generate pipeline: Identify and prospect litigation law firms through outbound campaigns and qualified inbound leads.

• Run sales conversations: Qualify prospects, understand their challenges and demonstrate how Plato can create value.

• Close deals: Progress opportunities through the sales cycle with the support of the founders.

• Manage relationships: Build trust with lawyers and legal professionals while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

• Learn and improve: Continuously refine your sales approach by working closely with the founders and incorporating customer feedback.

This role is for you if

You're an ambitious early-career sales professional looking to join a startup where you'll learn fast, take ownership and have a real impact on growth.

You enjoy talking to customers, solving problems and improving every week.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• You have a first successful experience in a commercial role (Business Development, SDR, BDR, Account Executive or similar), ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Love outbound prospecting and aren't afraid to pick up the phone.

• Are a native French speaker with excellent communication skills.

• Are curious and genuinely enjoy understanding customer problems.

• Learn quickly, seek feedback and continuously improve your execution.

• Are organized, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup.

• Want to work directly with founders and grow into a top-performing sales professional.

Bonus points if you:

• Have already sold a SaaS product.

• Have exposure to legal professionals or the legal industry.

• Have an interest in AI and how it transforms professional services.
