ETL Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in validating data pipelines, data warehousing, ETL processes, and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity across multiple source and target systems through automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for ETL/data warehouse testing.
• Validate source-to-target data mapping, transformation rules, and data quality.
• Develop automated SQL-based validation scripts for large datasets.
• Perform data reconciliation and data integrity testing.
• Validate ETL workflows, batch jobs, and data pipelines.
• Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyse data discrepancies and work with development teams for resolution.
• Generate test reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong ETL testing experience.
• SQL expertise (complex queries, joins, and stored procedures).
• Experience in test automation using Python, Java, or Selenium and data warehouse testing.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Ab Initio.
• Experience in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, or similar cloud data platforms.
• Data Validation and Reconciliation Testing.
• Test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

Good to Have:

• PySpark or Spark SQL.
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
