Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-impact Assistant Product Manager to join our core product team in Bangalore. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of technology, user experience, and business strategy, helping to shape the future of our car autotech marketplace. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, and operations, to translate complex market insights into intuitive product features.
By managing the end-to-end product lifecycle-from discovery and roadmap planning to execution and post-launch analysis-you will directly influence how millions of travelers interact with our platform, driving significant improvements in conversion, user retention, and overall marketplace efficiency. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining our position as the leading brand in the travel and automotive tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap by synthesizing user feedback, competitive analysis, and business metrics to ensure we are solving the most critical problems for our customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate business requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality product delivery.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify friction points in the user journey, implementing data-driven optimizations that improve conversion rates and platform engagement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear, transparent updates on product progress, risks, and performance against key business objectives.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and user research to validate hypotheses, ensuring that every feature launch delivers measurable value to both our end users and our internal business partners.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured product requirements and actionable technical specifications.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools to derive actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex product strategies to both technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, showing a high degree of adaptability and ownership.
- A solid educational foundation, preferably an MBA or an undergraduate degree from a premier institute, which supports your ability to think critically about market dynamics and user behavior.
- Comfortable working in a high-energy, on-site environment in Bangalore, where collaboration and rapid iteration are central to our product culture.
- Professional experience ranging from 3 to 10 years in product management roles, ideally within consumer-facing marketplaces or high-scale digital platforms.
