Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our hotel's team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a General Maintenance/Painter, you’re not just helping maintain the hotel's physical safety and functionality, ensuring that all painted surfaces, wall coverings, and finishes are well-maintained and visually appealing - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Support hotel facility maintenance: Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member orders
• Assist with preventative maintenance inspections: Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventative maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
• Prepare and apply finishes: Paint and polish surfaces in hotel rooms and public areas to meet required standards and timelines
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings: Work with materials like vinyl, fabric, and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer
• Maintain tools and equipment: Keep all painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition
• Manage painting supplies: Oversee supply inventory and ensure all paints and solvents are stored safely and properly
