Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Night Shift Cleaner, you’re not just ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel’s public spaces - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Maintain high cleaning standards: Ensure all designated public and back-of-house areas remain clean, hygienic, and presentable throughout the night, including restrooms, corridors, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
• Carry out overnight cleaning duties: Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and waste removal in accordance with established cleaning procedures.
• Support a clean and welcoming environment: Ensure facilities are ready for guests, staff, and visitors each morning by completing cleaning schedules and addressing any areas requiring additional attention.
• Assist with housekeeping operations: Support the housekeeping team with guest room cleaning and other duties or service requests as required.
• Complete deep-cleaning tasks: Carry out periodic and specialised cleaning, including moving furniture, shampooing carpets, waxing floors, and other maintenance-related cleaning duties.
• Work safely and efficiently: Use cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly, follow health and safety procedures, and maintain a tidy and hazard-free working environment throughout the night shift.
