As a Senior Engineering Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing daily operations of the physical building and systems maintenance and repairs - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

To ensure all Engineering standards, policies, and guidelines are strictly followed.
Responsible for preparing duty schedules for shift staff and allocating jobs to maximize productivity.
Ensures guest and interdepartmental requests or complaints are attended to promptly and efficiently.
Monitors HLP (Heat, Light & Power) consumption daily and controls avoidable energy waste during shifts.
Ensures all departmental employees perform according to organizational standards.
Responsible for maintaining all equipment and systems according to required specifications.
Ensures effective implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and maintains accurate records.
Utilizes resources efficiently and minimizes unnecessary repair & maintenance expenses.
Optimizes energy savings by implementing energy conservation initiatives.
Ensures operational areas meet high service standards for guests and internal teams.
Ensures immediate and appropriate response to any fire, smoke, or service interruptions during shift.
Establishes and ensures compliance with engineering systems, procedures, and protocols.
Recommends improvements to systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Ensures timely receipt of materials and spare parts through consistent follow-up with the purchasing department.
Encourages development of multi-functional skills among subordinates.
Utilizes the appraisal system to review staff performance and identify development needs.
Ensures continuous technical and behavioral training for all department employees.
Ensures staff attend trainings in their own and related areas to improve skills and support multifunctionality.
Personally conducts key technical trainings relevant to assigned trades.
Ensures all employees are fully trained in departmental systems, procedures, and safety requirements.
Provides counseling to subordinates on personal and work-related matters.
Attends behavioral and vocational trainings to enhance personal skills and promote multifunctionality.condition
