Senior Manager, Digital Product and Data Engineering - Asia Pacific (APACx)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is critical in advancing Hilton APACx’s shift toward an AI-first digital product and delivery model, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI and regional autonomy. You will help enable teams to move faster by combining product judgment, data fluency, and AI-assisted execution, especially for Japan, Korea, and India specific initiatives.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Apply generative and agentic AI to digital product planning and delivery

  • Actively use AI tools within the software delivery lifecycle to accelerate ideation, analysis, solution shaping, and handover preparation, in line with APACx’s AI first SDLC direction

  • Participate in and contribute to agentic AI-enabled workflows by developing and iterating harnesses and loops, where AI is used not only for content generation, but for task progression, decision support, and multi-step execution across product, data, and engineering activities

• Support and scale AI-driven innovation cycles

  • Contribute use cases, evaluate feasibility, and help operationalise output from APAC-wide hackathons and workshops, where AI-assisted development removes traditional engineering bottlenecks and enables regional teams to ship enhancements independently.

  • Convert business requirements to PRD powered by agent agents, prototypes with Ai into shippable candidates and work with product, engineering, analytics, and research partners.

• Extract and deliver data-backed insights to guide AI-enabled decisions

  • Write and validate SQL queries against Amazon Redshift to support experimentation readouts, localization performance analysis, and AI-informed product decisions

  • Use DBVisualizer and similar tools to explore datasets, validate AI-generated insights, and ensure analytical accuracy before decisions are taken

• AI-ready documentation for end-to-end digital ideation to delivery

  • Leverage enterprise AI to produce clear Confluence (Epic) and Jira (User Story) to ensure documentation for all shipped features, capabilities, and experiences

How you will collaborate with others:

• Internal collaboration

  • Work closely with APACx Digital Product, Engineering, Analytics, and AI leadership to identify where generative and agentic AI can replace manual workflows and accelerate delivery

  • Participate in recurring forums (initiative updates, analytics reviews, roadmap sessions) where AI-driven capability, not just feature delivery, is discussed

• Cross-regional and global alignment

  • Collaborate with global partners to align regional AI experimentation with enterprise guardrails, security, and platform readiness, while still preserving APACx autonomy

What you will take ownership of:

• AI-enabled delivery outputs

  • Practical use cases and artifacts demonstrate how agentic AI can be embedded into product discovery, development, and rollout, especially for regional use cases

• Data and experimentation artifacts

  • SQL-backed analyses, experimentation insights, and reporting that guide both human and AI-assisted decision-making

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Product, or equivalent

• 7+ years in digital product, technology, or data roles

• Hands-on experience applying agentic AI in ideating, planning, and delivery contexts

• Exposure to or direct involvement in agentic AI or AI assisted workflows that span multiple steps in the delivery lifecycle

• Strong data skills; experience with Amazon Redshift, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, SQL

• Working knowledge of DBVisualizer or equivalent data exploration tools

• Comfortable operating in environments where AI generates code, insights, drafts, or execution paths, with human judgment applied as the final control

• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures (Japan, Korea, USA)

• Curious and proactive applying continuous workflow evolution as AI capabilities mature

It would be useful if you have:

• Language proficiency in Japanese or Korean

• OpenClaw and Hermes experience
