Senior Engineering Manager (Enablement)

Join Hinge, the dating app designed to be deleted. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the Engineering Enablement team, driving strategy, roadmap, and execution to improve developer velocity, quality, and confidence across the product development lifecycle. You will partner closely with product engineering teams and adjacent platform teams to ensure Engineering Enablement is building the right capabilities, driving adoption, and improving outcomes. This is a hands-on platform leadership role with broad cross-functional reach.

Missions

• Lead the Engineering Enablement team strategy, defining opportunities to improve developer velocity, quality, and engineering effectiveness.
• Own the team's roadmap and execution, making priorities clear, driving decisions to closure, and ensuring the team delivers against meaningful outcomes.
• Build and improve the tools, workflows, and platform capabilities that help engineers develop, test, validate, and ship software more effectively.

- Strong people leadership, including direct feedback, coaching, performance management, and development of engineers at different levels

- A practical, outcome-oriented mindset and a bias toward making engineers more effective through simple, durable solutions

- Strong product instincts for internal platforms, with a clear focus on user value, adoption, and measurable outcomes

- Comfort working across team boundaries and driving progress through partnership, clarity, and influence

- The ability to balance near-term delivery with longer-term platform investment and technical quality

- A track record of leading engineering teams, or equivalent experience driving execution and technical direction as a senior technical leader

- Experience improving developer workflows, engineering productivity, quality systems, build and release processes, or related platform capabilities
