Tool Mechanic - Statesboro, GA

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (Based on Experience)

We're hiring an experienced Tool Mechanic for a full-time opportunity in Statesboro, GA. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding production tools, dies, and mechanical equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair tooling, dies, fixtures, and production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Modify, rebuild, and fabricate tooling components as needed
• Maintain maintenance records and follow safety procedures
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of tool mechanic, tool & die, maintenance mechanic, or related experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with welding, machining, or fabrication is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment
