Educational Qualification : Bachelors in Technology or related field.

About the role :

The Data Platform Consultant (Microsoft Fabric & Databricks) will design, implement, and optimise modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks as the primary analytics and data engineering platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, governed Lakehouse-first architectures that support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases, while integrating operational data and enabling near-real-time insight where required.

Responsibilities :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, and Power BI integration.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks including Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and performance optimisation.

- Experience designing Bronze, Silver, and Gold data architectures.

- Experience with ingestion and orchestration using Fabric Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks Workflows.

- Familiarity with Azure Synapse Link for near-real-time analytics scenarios.

- Strong SQL and Python skills.

- Good understanding of data governance, security, and metadata-driven architectures.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.

Requirements :

- Design and deliver Fabric- and Databricks-led data platforms.

- Build scalable Lakehouse architectures supporting BI and advanced analytics.

- Develop and optimize data pipelines and transformations.

- Integrate operational systems into analytics platforms.

- Apply best practices for performance, cost management, governance, and security.

- Support client enablement and knowledge sharing.

- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.
