The opportunity
In this role, you will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor for customers, supporting the promotion and application of Hitachi products, systems, services, and tools. You will work at the intersection of engineering, sales, and market development, helping convert technical opportunities into long-term business growth.
You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and supporting sales teams, contributing directly to demand generation, customer development, and sustainable relationships.
Senior Engineers will focus on more complex applications and act as technical references for junior and intermediate roles.
How you’ll make an impact
Identify and develop business opportunities through technical leadership and customer engagement.
Plan and execute technical visits, presentations, and follow-up activities with customers across different segments and channels.
Support product qualification and homologation processes by delivering technical presentations, trainings, and portfolio demonstrations.
Lead technical promotional activities such as seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions to generate demand.
Collaborate with engineering firms and end-user technical teams to propose optimal applications and solutions.
Build strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding current and future needs.
Support regional sales teams with product updates, launches, and technical training.
Contribute to brand conversion and equivalency processes, ensuring the best technical and commercial solutions.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems or Electrotechnical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical power equipment, systems, and solutions, including high-voltage applications.
Experience in application engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing technical roles.
Proven ability to work with customers in both technical and commercial environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Advanced English and Spanish proficiency
