The opportunity：

Hitachi Energy offers a complete range of power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors and transformer services.

Our transformers have a global sales network of about 100 countries spanning applications for power generation, transmission and distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility. With increasing complexity in the grid, our transformers are also increasingly used for improving power quality and network management. We introduced our TXpert™ Ecosystem launching the next level for digitalization of transformers.

How you’ll make an impact：

1. You will be responsible for project execution after receiving orders, and maintain effective communication with counterpart factory project managers.

2. You will control the specification and delivery schedule of materials purchased in Japan, and liaise with the factory to ensure timely material delivery for factory assembly work.

3. You will manage transportation arrangements and collaborate closely with logistics specialists to ensure the safe and timely delivery of transformers from the factory to the job site.

4. You will collaborate with Hitachi Ltd installation department, control and follow up on remaining on-site works of the Japan portion, and properly arrange installation schedules and supervisor dispatchment.

5. You will monitor overall project costs through the SAP system throughout the whole project cycle from initiation to final closure, and report the comparison results of planned and actual project costs to the manager of HE-J organization.

6. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background：

1. Educational Background: at minimum, bachelor’s degree of engineering or science

2. Required years of experience: minimum 5 years of experiences in power transformer products

3. Time management, presentation and planning skills

4. Ability to learn and work in new environment

5. Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)

6. Strong in collaborative and communication skills

7. Language: Strong Japanese and advanced English communication
