Marketing Coordinator

ARKET is a Nordic lifestyle brand within the H&M group with collections for men, women, children and the home, as well as a New Nordic vegetarian café. ARKET entered China market in 2020 and has since grown rapidly.

WHAT YOU DO

As Marketing Coordinator, you are working in one of the central functions of The Brands Marketing & Communication team.

Reporting to Omni Sales Manager, you will support the execution of ARKET’s marketing and communication activities in China, helping ensure that brand initiatives are delivered smoothly, consistently, and on time. Working closely with China Marketing team and internal and external partners, this role will have a particular focus on PR execution, campaign execution, and day-to-day marketing operations.

RESPONSIBILITY & MAIN TASKS

PR & Communications Execution

• Support in executing ARKET’s PR and communication plans.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with PR agencies, media, KOLs/KOCs, and other external partners.
• Support product seeding, sample management, gifting, media requests, and editorial opportunities.
• Assist with PR events, media previews, store activations, and other brand events, including preparation, on-site execution, and follow-up.
• Track PR exposure, media coverage, and relevant social content, and support regular reporting and performance recaps.
• Ensure all external communication and execution are aligned with ARKET’s brand identity and guidelines.

Campaign & Marketing Execution

• Support the local execution of global and local marketing campaigns across relevant consumer touchpoints.
• Coordinate campaign assets and materials with internal teams, stores, agencies, vendors, and other partners.
• Assist with activations, events, collaborations, content production, and other marketing initiatives as assigned.
• Ensure marketing activities are delivered according to agreed timelines and brand standards.
• Support localization and adaptation of global marketing materials when required.

Marketing Coordination & Administration

• Support day-to-day marketing operations, including project timelines, purchase orders, invoices, contracts, sample logistics, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain organized documentation and tracking of ongoing marketing projects and deliverables.
• Assist with marketing performance reporting and post-campaign recaps.
• Coordinate across internal functions such as Sales, E-commerce, Retail, Merchandising, and global teams when needed.
• Monitor relevant fashion, lifestyle, social media, and cultural trends and share observations with the wider team.
• Take on other marketing execution tasks and projects assigned.

QUALITIES/COMPETENCES

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, PR, communications, digital, e-commerce, or a related area. Experience within fashion, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• A strong entrepreneurial and creative spirit; A positive mindset that always sees possibilities, improvements and simple solutions.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for The Brand.
• Fluency in English & Mandarin (verbal and written).

This is a full-time position with a contract of 40 hours a week.
