- The Commercial Project Developer’s primary responsibility is to proactively engage the commercial, industrial, and institutional markets and consultatively position the value of solar energy to achieve the goals of the client. This will also be driven by an understanding of all available tools in developing a successful project and available channel partners in order to provide the most effective and applicable solutions to your client.
- The Developer will be well versed in a wide variety of utility territories, rate structures, incentives and renewables programs. This role will require origination of client relationships, evaluation of current energy costs and potential savings, site control, knowledge of solar design concepts and economic feasibility analysis and validation.
- The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
