Shop Service Technician 4 - Engine
This engine shop mechanic position is responsible for performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered or natural gas powered industrial engines and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines. Frequently works independently or as a leader/member of a team to provide mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals.
Mid-level position - Generally has more than seven years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A Level 4 Technician has a broad knowledge of the field’s standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is self-starting and requires minimal supervision; is often a team member on a large project.
