Shop Service Technician 3 - Heavy Equipment

HOLT CAT in Irving Texas is looking for a experienced heavy construction equipment shop service technician. This mechanic position is responsible for performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered heavy construction equipment and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines. Can work independently or as a member of a team to provide mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals. We are located at 3131 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75062. The hours for this position are Monday thru Friday, 7am to 5pm.

Mid-level position - Generally has more than four years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A Level III Technician has moderate knowledge of the field’s standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Level III Technician performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is indirectly supervised and self-starting; often a team member on a large project.
