The company is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, United States.

Our mission is to brighten the lives of older adults giving them a sense of purpose, wellbeing & worth. This role will play a vital part ensuring that our clients receive the best in class quality care and support the growth of our business.

Great care starts with great training!

At Home Instead, we know that outstanding care is delivered by people who feel confident, capable and supported to do their very best.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and engaging Care Trainer to join our team and help develop the knowledge, skills and confidence of our Care Professionals.

We are proud to be a 5-star employer and to have recently won an award for Best in Professional Services. These achievements reflect our commitment to excellence, and we want to continue building a team that shares our ambition and values.

If you enjoy helping people learn, grow and succeed, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.

About the Role

As our Care Trainer, you will play a key role in ensuring our Care Professionals have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.

You will help create a positive learning environment, supporting colleagues from their initial induction through their ongoing professional development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging induction and training sessions for new Care Professionals.
  • Supporting ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance care standards.
  • Helping colleagues develop their practical skills, knowledge and confidence.
  • Ensuring training reflects current requirements, best practice and our approach to relationship-led care.
  • Keeping accurate training records and supporting compliance with relevant training requirements.
  • Identifying learning needs and helping develop effective training resources and approaches.
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous learning, professional pride and improvement.
  • Working with the wider team to ensure our Care Professionals feel supported throughout their journey with us.
  • Participating in a rota to support our service out of hours

You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact, helping our team deliver the quality of care that our clients deserve.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and development and passionate about the difference great care can make.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in the care sector and a good understanding of person-centred care.
  • Experience delivering training, coaching or supporting the development of others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to engage people with different levels of experience and confidence.
  • A supportive, approachable style that encourages people to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards and helping others achieve their potential.

Relevant training qualifications and experience delivering care-related training would be advantageous. We would also welcome applications from experienced care professionals who have a passion for developing others and are ready to take the next step in their careers.

Most importantly, you will believe in our values and want to help people become the very best Care Professionals they can be.

Why Join Home Instead?

We are proud to be a 5-star employer, and our recent award for Best in Professional Services reflects our commitment to quality and excellence.

We want our people to feel just as valued as the clients they support.

When you join us, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Become part of a growing, award-winning organisation.
  • Make a meaningful difference to the confidence and capability of our Care Professionals.
  • Help shape the learning and development of our team.
  • Work in a supportive environment where your contribution is recognised.
  • Bring your ideas and creativity to improve how we train and develop our people.
  • Develop your own skills and experience as our business grows.
  • Work full-time or part-time, depending on the successful candidate.

This is an opportunity to do more than deliver training. It is an opportunity to help shape the future of care by investing in the people who provide it.

Ready to Inspire Others?

If you are passionate about learning, enjoy helping others succeed and want to be part of a team that takes pride in delivering outstanding care, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who can bring energy, enthusiasm and fresh ideas to our growing business.

Help us inspire our Care Professionals, raise standards and make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

Desirable: Level 3 Award in Education and Training

If you have a passion for caring and the motivation to help us achieve our ambitions, we would love to hear from you.

We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work. Home Instead is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. This role is subject to Access NI enhanced disclosure.
