About the Role:
The 2nd Shift Corrugator Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the corrugator production line during the second shift at our manufacturing facility. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corrugator operations or a related manufacturing environment.
- At least 4 years in a supervisory position in a production setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures in manufacturing.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with corrugator machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience working in non-durable goods manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the corrugator production team during the 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal line efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and timely repairs of corrugator equipment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate production goals, safety updates, and performance feedback.
- Maintain accurate production records, report shift performance metrics, and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
