Job Purpose

• To drive growth of the Engineering business through identification, development, and closure of HVAC, Mechanical Ventilation, and related Engineering projects. The role is responsible for technical sales, solution design, client relationship management, tender preparation, project follow-up, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by identifying and securing new HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical ventilation, and engineering project opportunities.
• Build and manage strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, architects, facility managers, and corporate clients.
• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, equipment sizing, and develop tailored engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, tenders, cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Lead tender participation, bid clarifications, and commercial negotiations to secure profitable projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support successful project execution, quality assurance, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement, issue resolution, and post-project support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities to inform sales strategy.
• Track sales performance, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular reporting on pipeline and business results.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and company policies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor in support of project execution.

Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Professional registration with relevant bodies is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales, HVAC, mechanical systems, or engineering solutions.
• Proven experience in HVAC project sales and business development.
• Experience in tender preparation and project costing.
