Artificial Intelligence Business Architect

Description -

The AI Business Architect is responsible for identifying, designing, and enabling AI-driven business transformations that deliver measurable business outcomes. This role serves as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams, data scientists, and enterprise architects to ensure AI solutions align with strategic objectives, operational needs, and governance requirements.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in business process transformation, digital strategy, enterprise architecture, data and AI technologies, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Business Transformation

• Develop and drive AI transformation roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy.

• Identify high-value AI and Generative AI use cases across business functions.

• Define business capabilities, target operating models, and AI adoption strategies.

• Prioritize AI initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and risk.

Business Architecture

• Analyze current-state business processes, capabilities, and customer journeys.

• Design future-state business architectures incorporating AI-enabled workflows.

• Map AI opportunities to business capabilities and strategic objectives.

• Create business capability models, process architectures, and value streams.

Solution Design & Innovation

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Scientists, and Product Teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.

• Define AI use cases, requirements, success metrics, and business outcomes.

• Support the design of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and Conversational AI solutions.

• Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and responsible AI principles.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with executives and business leaders to identify transformation opportunities.

• Facilitate workshops and design-thinking sessions.

• Communicate complex AI concepts in business-friendly language.

• Build executive-level business cases and investment proposals.

Value Realization

• Define KPIs, ROI models, and benefits realization frameworks.

• Track business outcomes and adoption metrics.

• Recommend optimization opportunities based on data-driven insights.

• Drive continuous improvement and AI maturity growth.

Governance & Risk Management

• Support AI governance frameworks and responsible AI initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.

• Assess ethical implications and business risks associated with AI deployment.

• Establish standards and best practices for AI adoption.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• MBA preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy Consulting, Product Management, or related fields.

• 3+ years of experience working with AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Analytics, or Automation initiatives.

• Experience leading enterprise transformation programs.

Technical Knowledge

• AI/ML concepts and business applications.

• Generative AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock).

• Data and analytics platforms.

• Process automation technologies.

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, Business Capability Modeling).
