Job Summary

The People Relations and Compliance (PRC) Specialist supports the Global HR Compliance Lead in the administration, governance, and execution of key global HR compliance programs. The role serves as a central coordination point for HR Crisis Management, Business Continuity Planning, HR Policy Management, Internal and External Audits, and operational support across the Employee Relations (ER), Labor Relations (LR), and HR Compliance functions.

This position partners with HR, Employment Law, Risk Management, and business stakeholders to promote compliance, operational readiness, risk mitigation, and governance across the People Organization globally. The role requires strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a complex global environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Global HR Crisis Management Administration

  • Support the Global HR Compliance Lead in the administration and coordination of HR Crisis Management activities globally.
  • Maintain crisis management documentation, governance materials, action trackers, and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to HR crisis events and business disruptions.
  • Support preparedness reviews, tabletop exercises, and post-incident assessments.
  • Monitor and track completion of corrective actions and mitigation plans arising from crisis management reviews.
  • Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and leadership presentations regarding crisis management activities.

2. Business Continuity Management (BCM) Governance

  • Oversee the annual Business Continuity Review process for the People Organization.
  • Coordinate with HR functional leaders to ensure continuity plans remain current and aligned with business requirements.
  • Monitor completion of continuity assessments, risk reviews, and testing activities.
  • Consolidate global BCM results and provide reporting to HR leadership.
  • Identify gaps and track remediation activities to closure.
  • Support business continuity governance, documentation, and audit readiness activities.

3. HR Policy Management

  • Support the global HR Policy Management Framework and policy governance process.
  • Coordinate policy reviews, updates, approvals, version control, and publication activities.
  • Maintain global policy inventories and review calendars.
  • Partner with policy owners to ensure policies remain compliant with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Track policy exceptions, waivers, and required actions.
  • Support communication and awareness initiatives related to HR policy changes.

4. HR Audit & Compliance Support

  • Assist with internal and external HR audits, including audit preparation, evidence collection, issue tracking, and remediation activities.
  • Support compliance reviews involving Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), Human Rights, SOX-related HR controls, customer audits, and other regulatory assessments.
  • Maintain audit documentation repositories and compliance reporting tools.
  • Monitor audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Develop compliance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting

5. Employee Relations, Labor Relations & HR Compliance Operations Support

  • Provide operational and project support across the three pillars (as appropriate):
    • Employee Relations
    • Labor Relations
    • HR Compliance
  • Support governance initiatives, process improvements, documentation management, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate global meetings, action plans, and follow-up activities across functional teams.
  • Assist with administration and management of People Relations tools, trackers, and repositories.

Education & Experience Recommended

- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, Compliance, Business Continuity, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.

- Professional certifications in HR, Compliance, Audit, Risk, Business Continuity, or Project Management are preferred.

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR Compliance, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR Operations, Risk Management, Audit, Governance, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting global or multinational organizations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
  • Experience coordinating enterprise-wide programs, governance processes, compliance initiatives, or risk management activities.
  • Experience developing and administering global processes, standards, frameworks, policies, and controls.
  • Experience supporting leadership teams through audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, corrective action planning, and remediation activities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders in a matrixed global environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment practices, investigations governance, labor relations, and policy management is preferred.
