Generative AI Engineer - Python

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Generative AI Engineer to design and develop AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming expertise, hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and cloud deployment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intelligent automation solutions, AI assistants, and enterprise-grade GenAI applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications using Python.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
- Integrate Large Language Models (OpenAI GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini, Mistral, etc.) into production applications.
- Develop AI agents and conversational assistants using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Design REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Flask.
- Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, Weaviate, or Milvus.
- Build prompt engineering workflows and optimize prompts for accuracy and performance.
- Fine-tune open-source language models where required.
- Develop scalable backend services for AI applications.
- Deploy AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Monitor model performance, latency, and cost optimization.
- Implement security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
Required Skills :
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.
- Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Hands-on experience building RAG-based applications.
- Knowledge of embeddings and semantic search.
- Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, Milvus).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- REST API development experience.
- Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals.
- Experience with Hugging Face Transformers.
- Model fine-tuning using LoRA or PEFT.
- Experience with MLflow or model lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Qualifications :
- 3 to 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience in Python backend development.
- At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience building Generative AI applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with AI Agents and multi-agent systems.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience with AI workflow orchestration.
- Exposure to enterprise AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.
