Overview
The Agentic Transformation team is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to shape how people, products and AI agents come together through intuitive, high-quality experiences, tools and workflows across Salesforce’s Solutions and Builder ecosystem. They translate complex needs, insights and strategic direction into thoughtful, scalable experiences that enable Solution Engineers, Builders and Leaders to work more effectively and realise greater value from AI.
You will stay deeply connected to the needs and realities of our global Solutions & Builders teams, using research, discovery, experimentation and continuous feedback to understand user needs and translate them into effective experiences. You will turn these insights into clear, compelling experiences that support meaningful behaviour change, sustained adoption and measurable impact.
You will work across the full design process - from discovery and concept development through prototyping, testing and delivery - partnering closely with Experience Strategists, Product, Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders. You will bring clarity to complex problems, make emerging technologies tangible, and create experiences that are intuitive, effective and grounded in evidence.
This role offers the opportunity to shape experiences at the intersection of human behaviour, design and AI - helping Solution Engineers, Builders and Leaders adopt new ways of working, communicate product value more effectively, and get maximum value from the technologies available to them.
Core Responsibilities
Design & Execution
Design intuitive, high-quality experiences, tools and workflows that help Solution Engineers, Builders and Leaders work more effectively.
Translate complex user, business and technical needs into clear user journeys, information architecture, interactions and interfaces aligned with user needs and strategic direction.
Own design problems from discovery through to delivery, bringing structure and clarity to complex and ambiguous challenges.
Use research, feedback, usage data and experimentation to inform design decisions, validate concepts and continuously improve experiences.
Prototype and test ideas rapidly to explore possibilities, make emerging technologies tangible and build confidence in design decisions.
Create polished UI and visual experiences aligned with Salesforce design systems, accessibility standards and product quality expectations.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner closely with Experience Strategists, Product, Engineering and Solutions teams to translate user needs and strategic direction into practical, high-quality experiences.
Influence product and experience decisions through strong design rationale, evidence, experimentation and compelling communication.
Communicate design thinking, concepts and recommendations clearly to create alignment around user needs, design decisions and outcomes.
Collaborate across disciplines to resolve ambiguity and move ideas from concept through to implementation.
Build strong relationships with global Solutions & Builder teams, bringing their needs, behaviours and challenges into the design process.
Design Systems & Innovation
Establish and evolve reusable design patterns and approaches that improve the quality, consistency and scalability of experiences across the Solutions and Builder ecosystem.
Apply systems thinking to identify opportunities to improve broader workflows, tools and ways of working - not just individual product experiences.
Explore emerging technologies and interaction models, particularly AI and agentic experiences, through rapid experimentation and prototyping.
Help evolve design practices and ways of working as technology, user behaviours and business needs change.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong foundation in UX and UI design, accessibility, inclusive and human-centred design, with experience translating complex user, business and technical needs into intuitive, high-quality experiences demonstrated through a strong portfolio of end-to-end design work - Minimum of 5years of product design experience..
Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and visual communication, with the ability to explore and communicate ideas quickly and effectively.
Experience using research, feedback, experimentation, and evidence to inform design decisions and improve experience outcomes.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively across Design, Engineering, Product, Strategy, and Solutions teams.
Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly generative AI and agentic systems, with a willingness to experiment with new tools and ways of working
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with the adaptability and initiative to learn, iterate, and respond to evolving needs.
Bonus Capabilities
Experience exploring AI-powered experiences or AI-enabled workflows
An understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, with a working knowledge of AI, agentic systems, and their implications for human + AI experiences.
Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in your workflow.
Motion design, presentation design, or storytelling experience
