Assistant Manager Human Resources

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Assistant Manager Human Resources.

In this role you will:

• Support delivery of the local people agenda aligned to the People Strategy across the employee lifecycle, under guidance from the Manager.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities to uphold HSBC hiring standards, including agency liaison where applicable.
• Provide day-to-day HR support by handling employee/manager queries, triaging requests and escalating complex matters appropriately.
• Coordinate employee performance management, development and engagement activities, including communications, logistics and tracking of feedback.
• Support implementation of transformation initiatives by coordinating communications/actions and helping drive adoption of new processes and systems.
• Ensure to maintain accurate HR data/records and monitor routine MI packs and dashboards with stakeholders to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Support a strong control compliance by completing assigned control checks, maintaining documentation and escalating exceptions/risks.
• Administer local third-party vendors and invoicing processes, ensuring audit-ready documentation, SLA tracking and correct cost allocation.

To be successful you will need:

• University graduate (or equivalent experience), preferably in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline.
• With experience in HR operations/generalist support, recruitment coordination or HR administration; financial services exposure is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin required to support Macau business needs.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality mindset; comfortable with HR systems and data/MI (e.g., Excel) and able to escalate issues with good judgement.
