We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Service Manager.

Business: Hong Kong Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Lead the future bank transformation projects in Channel (Branch and Contact Centre), Insurance and support business growth through effective application of new technologies in digital staff tablet, conversational banking and omni-channel customer experience.
• Develop effective IT support for CMB Channel through providing IT consultancy and delivering IT solutions, so as to achieve the strategic goals and efficient operations of the business.
• Manage a diverse team of IT professionals in delivering growth, regulatory, risk and efficiency programmes.
• Work closely with Group IT product owners in ensuring that IT programmes are delivered in accordance with the Group IT strategy, priority and roadmap whilst meeting requirements of the CMB business.
• Ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control policies and standards in the course of project execution and in daily operational support.
• Build an engaged and effective team of IT development function and continually enhance their IT consulting and technical capabilities.
• Secure quality and maintainability of IT applications, and manage technology and security risks so as to provide sustainable service proposition to customers.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline with over 10 years of technology working experience, including at least 3 years as technical team leader.
• Proven track record in technology domain with experience in IT project management positions in a banking or finance environment
• Experience in managing large scale IT projects (Cloud-based web application with API) in a complex environment, preferably on a regional or global scale.
• Track record in building digital development teams and delivering through agile and DevSecOps methodologies and AI-assisted development.
• Strong leadership, people management skills and stakeholder management capability
• Strong technical skills in understanding and deploying enterprise level application systems, and good knowledge of scalable and complex platforms.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
