Role:Product Manager

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

The mission of the Product Manager is to drive the product strategy and execute prioritized road-map for the product and features, from the idea stage to launch. You should have previous experience in end-to-end product management. Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations, and improving overall product user experience. This important mission requires a relentless drive yet a team player who fits our unique culture. Ultimately, you’ll work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer satisfaction.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• 6-12 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or product development.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS/BAS, building automation, controls, and IoT platforms.
• Experience with SaaS/cloud products, web portals, mobile applications, and software product development.
• Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, HVAC sequences of operation, equipment integrations, and BMS data.
• Proven experience working closely with Engineering teams on product architecture, technical feasibility, requirements, and feature delivery.
• Experience in product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements gathering, PRDs, user stories, UX workflows, and product lifecycle management.
• Understanding of product P&L, pricing, revenue models, development costs, ROI, and profitability.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with globally distributed Engineering, Business, Sales, and Support teams.
• Good to have: Project Haystack, semantic tagging, BMS data modeling, point normalization, building analytics, AI/ML, and FDD experience.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end delivery of assigned products and features.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate technical solutions, resolve dependencies, and drive feature development.
• Define and deliver features across HVAC/BMS integrations, IoT platforms, cloud services, web portals, and mobile applications.
• Develop clear PRDs, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria for Engineering and QA teams.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, feature validation, and release management.
• Own or co-own product and feature P&L, including revenue opportunities, pricing, development costs, operational expenses, and ROI.
• Collaborate with customers, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to identify product gaps, validate requirements, and improve user experience.
• Conduct product training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions for internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Support product launches, sales enablement, documentation, and feature adoption.
• Track product performance, customer adoption, profitability, and competitive trends to drive continuous improvement.
