The role.
Huge is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Technology practice in Colombia. In this role, you will lead the integration and content modeling for Contentstack SaaS platforms while engineering high-performance frontend applications with Next.js, Azure, and modern edge architectures. Working alongside product, UX, and strategy leadership, you will lead a spec-driven development cycle, leverage AI tools (such as Claude Code) for development efficiency, architect edge-rendered web applications, drive scripted and AI-assisted content migrations, and build composable digital experiences utilizing Contentstack, Coveo, Bynder, and Freshpaint for enterprise clients.
What you'll be doing.
- Design, structure, and implement flexible content models in Contentstack, integrating headless APIs with modern web applications and cloud services on Azure.
- Architect and deploy high-performance applications utilizing Next.js, Next.js Middleware, TypeScript, and Vercel Edge Functions or Azure for request routing, personalization, and edge performance optimization.
- Drive a spec-driven development cycle and leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, AI assistants) to accelerate feature delivery, code quality, and workflow efficiency.
- Lead automated content migration initiatives using custom scripting and AI-assisted workflows to seamlessly transition enterprise content into Contentstack.
- Integrate composable ecosystem platforms including Coveo (search), Bynder (DAM), and Freshpaint (privacy-first data platform).
- Develop accessible, W3C-compliant web applications and backend microservices using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern CSS/design-system libraries.
- Partner with UX, Product, and QA teams to evaluate feature feasibility, refine requirements from Figma designs, and enforce accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) and Core Web Vitals standards.
- Apply software design patterns, maintain clear spec documentation, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers within an agile, globally distributed environment.
What we'd like to see.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in agile environments, delivering large-scale web applications for enterprise clients.
- Proven hands-on experience with Contentstack integration, headless API architectures, and enterprise content modeling.
- Strong mastery of Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES202x), Next.js Middleware, and cloud/edge infrastructure (Azure, Vercel Edge Functions).
- Hands-on comfort using AI tools for development (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools) within a spec-driven development workflow.
- Familiarity with or experience integrating composable tech stack tools like Coveo, Bynder, and Freshpaint.
- Experience executing complex content migrations through custom scripting and AI-assisted migration automation tooling.
- Deep experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, backend services (Node.js, Python, or Go), and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong knowledge of composable architecture, Storybook, design tokens, and modern CSS solutions (TailwindCSS, Sass).
- In-depth understanding of WCAG/ARIA standards, Lighthouse audits, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Familiarity with automated build/deploy pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), edge CDNs (Vercel, Cloudflare), and cloud services (Azure focus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience, with advanced English proficiency (C1+) for global collaboration.
- Nice to have: Experience working with clients or solutions in the Healthcare industry.
