The Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Software Engineer 2 standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Software Engineer II - Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 -5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on modern web application development.
- Experience integrating applications withREST andSOAP APIs.
- Working knowledge ofNode.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices.
- Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using:
- React.js
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms such asAzure orGCP, including deployment, monitoring, and application scalability.
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements, includingPCI,HIPAA, andCMS standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AEM integration and Next.js server-side rendering (SSR), routing, caching, and hydration.
- Experience supporting production deployments and post-release activities.
- Exposure to performance optimization, application monitoring, and observability tools.
- Knowledge inGraphQL, including query and mutation development, and experience withApollo and/orRelay clients.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems, including exposure to technologies such as Kafka.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$80,900 - $110,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
