Job Description :
Generic Skills (Must Have) :
- Terraform HCL, modules, remote state, state locking, reusable templates, environment separation.
- Containerisation and Kubernetes basics: deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, autoscaling, troubleshooting.
- Linux administration and basic scripting.
GCP Skills (Must Have) :
- GCP Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Cloud NAT, Cloud Router, Cloud DNS.
- CI/CD using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Monitoring and logging using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
Nice to have (Trainable) :
- GKE Autopilot vs Standard decisioning.
- Anthos / GKE Enterprise exposure.
- Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry.
- FinOps and cost optimisation.
- Policy as Code using OPA, Sentinel, or Terraform policy controls.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Terraform codebases, including modules, remote state management, state locking, reusable templates, and environment segregation.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads on GKE, handling deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, autoscaling, and daytoday troubleshooting.
- Perform Linux system administration tasks and create basic automation scripts to support cloud operations.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to deliver code changes reliably.
- Configure and monitor GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Cloud NAT, Cloud Router, and Cloud DNS.
- Set up observability stacks with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana, and respond to alerts and incidents.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize cloud costs and enforce security and compliance policies.
