Portfolio Manager Insect Screens

Are you an experienced product or portfolio professional who enjoys shaping strategy, driving commercial growth and turning market insights into successful products? Do you thrive at the intersection of technology, customer needs and business? Then this could be your next challenge as Portfolio Manager Insect Screens within our Product Team.

Your role

As Portfolio Manager, you will take ownership of the insect screen portfolio, shaping its strategy, roadmap and future direction. You will translate customer insights, market data and business objectives into clear product decisions and a future-proof portfolio that supports sustainable growth.

You will work with an international perspective, helping to expand the portfolio across markets and customer segments. At the same time, you act as the bridge between technical product development and commercial execution, ensuring that new and existing solutions are both technically feasible and commercially successful.

This is a strategic role with plenty of ownership, where portfolio management, commercial thinking, data and cross-functional leadership come together.

What will you do?

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the insect screen portfolio.
• Own the portfolio throughout its full lifecycle, from existing products to new developments and market introduction.
• Translate customer needs, market insights and competitive developments into clear product requirements and propositions.
• Drive commercial performance by focusing on pricing, margins, profitability and portfolio growth.
• Use sales, market and pricing data to identify opportunities and support strategic decisions and investment cases.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, without direct reporting lines.
• Manage complex product development projects from ideation through to successful market introduction.
• Support Sales in introducing and scaling new solutions in the market.
• Ensure portfolio decisions are operationally sound, scalable and aligned with demand, product availability and supply chain capabilities.
• Contribute to international market expansion by adapting the portfolio to different geographies and customer segments.

What you bring

You are an experienced product or portfolio manager who combines strategic thinking with a strong commercial and analytical mindset. You are comfortable taking ownership, making decisions based on data and bringing different stakeholders together around a common goal.

You have:

• Proven experience in product or portfolio management, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to define and execute product roadmaps.
• A highly analytical, data-driven approach and the ability to turn insights into action.
• A proven ability to drive commercial success and work closely with sales organisations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong project management skills across complex product development initiatives.
• A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to translate customer needs into product solutions.
• Technical affinity, preferably with a mechanical background, and the ability to quickly develop strong product expertise.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Experience with insect screens, outdoor products, façade systems or comparable product categories is a plus. Experience scaling portfolios internationally, working with structured portfolio management frameworks or operating at senior stakeholder level is also highly valued.

The role operates in a matrix structure, reporting to both the Director of Product EMEA and the local Unilux General Manager, giving you a broad perspective and strong exposure across the organization. You homebase will be Unilux, in Boxtel, but you will regularly visit the Product Team EMEA in Rotterdam and Oudenbosch. Business travel is an essential part of the role and is necessary to be truly successful in the position.
