This internship offers hands-on experience across the full social media content lifecycle within a highly regulated industry. Each intern will come from one of Huntington’s partner universities and bring their campus perspective into the program. Working remotely from their home communities, with hybrid in-office participation for Columbus-based interns, interns will contribute ideas, insights and content recommendations that help Huntington connect with customers, communities and university audiences across our footprint. As part of the experience, each intern will develop localized content guidance that reflects their campus, student audience and community context.

  • Create, edit, optimize and adapt content for a variety of social platforms and formats, including original photo or video content when opportunities arise and repurposed brand, event or partnership assets.
  • Develop a localized social content toolkit, guide or plan for their Huntington partner university, helping the team understand campus culture, student needs, relevant moments and content opportunities, then present their recommendations to the brand team and other relevant Huntington stakeholders at the end of the internship.
  • Support content planning, workflow management, project execution and performance analysis to help improve future social media content.
