Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, monitoring, and automation. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using modern observability tools.
• Implement automated backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release cycles.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and control infrastructure costs.
• Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Support production environments and participate in incident response activities.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, New Relic.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, and VPCs.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of SRE practices and reliability engineering.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.
