Associate Cloud Solution Specialist

About the Role

As an Associate Cloud Solution Specialist at Hyland, you will play a key role in the deployment, migration, and upgrading of company solutions in cloud environments. You will work across all or specific steps of the deployment process based on customer needs - including information gathering, discovery, planning, cloud infrastructure build, application configuration, testing, go-live, and progress documentation. This role is ideal for a technically curious, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality cloud solutions that make a meaningful impact for our customers.

Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do

• Deploy basic solutions in the cloud environment based on customer requirements including new installations, upgrades, and migrations; build and configure basic infrastructure in cloud environments followed by installing domain-specific modules and configurations based on documented requirements
• Interact with customers to gather information and understand their needs in order to configure solutions accordingly; provide proactive suggestions and answers to improve customer satisfaction throughout the deployment process
• Collaborate with other cloud teams on configuration and environment setup; assist customers with application configuration and testing initiatives and conduct testing for deployed solutions before going live
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues arising from product upgrades, installations, and configurations before go-live by utilizing the company's systems, utilities, and support processes with assistance and direct oversight from team members
• Support customers throughout the go-live process; be an advocate for customer requests, maintain ownership of requests, and follow through consistently with resolutions; engage with customers throughout the deployment process by providing regular updates and addressing concerns
• Document the progress on customer cases at every step of the deployment; maintain detailed documentation that reflects all activities related to the deployment of solutions; understand the technical intricacies of supported software and apply that understanding to solution deployment and issue resolution

Role Essentials - What You'll Need

• High School Diploma; experience in a customer service environment; basic technical skills with Windows OS, SQL DB, PC hardware, and networks; Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
• Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; ability to speak and write with ease, clarity, and impact using a communication style appropriate to the subject and audience
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and data gathering skills; demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and appropriately escalate issues for guidance
• Collaboration skills applied successfully within a team; interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside of the department

What We'd Like to See - Preferred Skills

• Experience/Working Knowledge of deploying, migrating, or upgrading solutions in cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure build processes, application configuration, and testing initiatives
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to product upgrades, installations, and configurations
• Demonstrated ability to maintain ownership of customer requests and follow through consistently with resolutions
• Experience maintaining detailed documentation that reflects all activities related to the deployment of solutions
