About the Role

The Senior Implementation Engineer is responsible for implementing in all phases of the design, test, and implementation process. This position is responsible for helping to modify project scope, identify and troubleshoot problems, assess modifications needed, and determine the success of implementations after the project is complete.

Here's What You'll Do

• Lead requirements analysis and consult on recommended practices for enterprise solutions from both a business and technical perspective

• Implement enterprise deployments, technical architecture for large scale projects with complex products and solutions that meet the customers’ needs for scalability, reliability, and performance across a range of industries.

• Design, implement, configure and customize solutions, integrations and add-ons to resolve complex functional and technical requirements using company products with minimal oversight.

• Compose and deliver requirements documentation and accurately estimate time to complete solution deployment

• Lead the demonstration of the configured solution or prototypes of the solution while maintaing stakeholder buy in and managing scope expectations

• Work with project team to deliver quality solutions to our customers, providing new perspectives, encouraging innovative thinking and a willingness to share new ideas and approaches

• Implement performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis in more complex solutions and technologies. Communicate steps to resolution to both internal parties and all levels of customer management

• Demonstrate competence in digital asset management and content services platform markets and the technical intricacies of the company's products and successfully apply that understanding and be innovative when developing requirements. Learn new products and solutions and become a subject matter expert in company content services platforms.

• Manage business, functional, and technical requirements elaboration and architectural design sessions with customers. Manage creation of content to client deliverables (e.g., specifications, test cases, user stories, and design documents).

• Identify and submit product feature requests to product management

• Lead the delivery of training for customers and teams.

• Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for customer that demonstrates the end to end functionality of the solution

• Provide technical sales assistance in enterprise level pursuits

• Operate as a trusted advisor to potential customers; develop and maintain strategic working relationships and operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge

• May provide guidance to other team members

• JUnit

• Google Polymer, Angular, React, Vue or other JS frameworks
• Modern SQL Databases, Database Abstraction & Key Value Store concepts
• JSON, XML, SWIFT, AVRO
• HTML5, CSS3

Role Essentials and What We'd Like to See

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent certifications and experience
• 8+ years of consulting/professional services experience in a client facing delivery role
• Experience with software implementation best practices and software architecture principles
• Experience in building productive client relationships
• Industry experience in one of the following sectors: Healthcare Media & Entertainment Marketing Graphic Design Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals Financial Services Government Military or Intelligence Fashion Consumer Products
• Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
• Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
• Strong leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
• Strong data gathering interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
• Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• Strong ability to develop and use engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to coach mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner
